A NY/NJ knitter takes the blogging plunge... Snowed in for most of the weekend, a bummer because we were all jazzed to see the
Tin Huey/Robyn Hitchcock show at
Maxwell's in Hoboken. Still, made lots of knitting progress on GM's
Koigu Neck Cozy, frogged & wound a Goodwill sweater (sized maternity L - - plenty of gorgeous yarn for a project or 2), and started a birthday scarf (Paton's Divine in Denim Storm) for Sister A, which I'm thinking about re-doing after seeing the fab 4-legged
Embrace in the new Knitty. Am starting to freak a little, as I wait for yarn orders to arrive so I can get started already on the scarves for DH's family. At least we're driving to Ohio for the holidays, so I can count on at least a few hours of last-minute knitting in the car. The Chanukah hats/scarves, of course, have to be done much sooner. My poor, poor neglected
Bucket O' Chic,
Fuzzy Feet, and
Bright Autumn will have to wait until after the holidays after all, when I have time again to knit for me, dammit. Though I might bring them along to keep me busy on the car ride back. Pix, progress reports and patterns all to come soon soon soon.
